Scholarships

Should the cost of any program listed above prove to be a hardship, please inquire about the availability of scholarships. Please direct inquiries to the Center for Community Health Education at 532-5969 or jvose@houltonregional.org.

Weather Cancellations

If classes need to be canceled due poor weather conditions, the decision will be made by 3:00 p.m., for evening classes, and will be broadcast over WHOU 100.1. Please call us at 532-5969 if you question if a class will be held.

Special Needs

If you need special assistance (wheelchair assistance, interpreter, assisted listening device, etc.) please contact us in advance, so we can make the appropriate accommodations.

Cancer Prayer and Support Group

Cancer Prayer and Support Group is a place to hear methods of coping with symptoms of their illness, discuss and share resources about dealing with side effects of treatment, to discuss the daily impact of cancer and to find tremendous support and hope for the future. All are welcome to attend.

 New Peer Support Group

NAMI of Southern Aroostook

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will sponsor a free Peer Support Group specifically for adults who have mental concerns to provide people and their families who are affected by mental illness with a deeper understanding of mental illness and with strategies for living with and recovering from serious mental illness.

Compassionate Friends Support Group

  • Compassionate Friends is a support group that provides grief support offering friendship and understanding to those who have lost a child.
