The manager will oversee the accounts receivable of the hospital, assist with financial audits and cash reconciliations, provide reporting for budgets, work with third party collection agencies and supervise the staff of the Patient Financial Services Department.
The successful applicant must have the ability to organize and prioritize workflow, establish and maintain effective relations with co-workers and the public, as well as protect the confidential content of all hospital records. Computer proficiency is a necessity, with the ability to learn new payer platforms, as needed. Two to three years experience in medical billing and previous supervisory experience preferred.
