Trudy started at Houlton Regional Hospital in January 1987 as a Lab student through the University of Maine at Presque Isle and as an employee shortly after. She worked in the Laboratory Department at HRH for 14 years and then transitioned to the Quality Department.
Trudy is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management. She is the Immediate Past President of the Maine Association of Healthcare Quality, having been a member of that organization for about 10 years. She is co-chair of the Link for Hope Community Coalition in the Greater Houlton area. She also represents Houlton Regional on the Healthy Houlton grant project. Both of these groups are working for a healthier community for us to live in.
Trudy has two adult daughters and one grandson. She is happily married to Roger and they live in Hodgdon, with their “bonus child” Sierra.
Trudy’s goal at HRH is for every patient to get safe, effective and compassionate care at Houlton Regional Hospital.
